Chlorine meters can be used wherever you need to measure the total chlorine in water, also referred to as total residual chlorine. It measures the total of all chlorine present, including chloramines, dissolved free chlorine, hypochlorite ions, and hypochlorous acid. Salinity meters are used to measure salt and pH levels, while TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) , is an estimate of the mass of dissolved solids within the solution.
